"It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to." Bilbo Baggins

About

Hi and welcome to our travel blog.  Inspired by the numerous travel and RV blogs we follow, we started this blog in an attempt to document our travels and share our adventures.  We are beginning bloggers with an interest in travel, and elementary -level skills in blogging.

We are two part-tie adventurers who enjoy traveling, exploring new places and visiting friends.  After a 26 year carrier in the U.S. Air Force we decided it was time to pursue a less formal and structured way of life.  We moved back to our home town to be near family.  It had been 26 years since we lived within a days drive of our extended families.  To enable our hopes of more travel, we decided not to work full-time.  Craig joined a small company doing project management consulting and Jennifer became a substitute teacher.

We are long-term RV owners, owning and using travel trailers for over 25 years.  But once our children left home fro college, we decided it was time to step into the big league.  We bought our first motorhome in 2012; a Winnebago Vista 30T Class-A gas-powered motorhome.  We thoroughly enjoyed the new opportunities a motorhome has over a travel trailer and started the beginnings of our RV adventures.  We took trips of over 10 days for the first time.  We learned how to do extended stays.  We even became Arizona snowbirds in the winter months.

Travel in our Visita was great, but with the extended stays and our commitment to more travel, we moved up to a diesel pusher.  Our 2013 Itasca Meridian is now our new home on wheels.  Our adventures are expanding with this new rig and we have gone places we never thought we would.

Craig still works part-time, and we have moved to warmer climates.  Our commitment to travel is continuing though.  We have a soft part for the western parts of the United State but are looking forward to expanding our travels beyond.

Please enjoy following us as we attempt to document our journeys and share the wonders of our travels.
